Glen Bensley's music, as in the style of The Great Taj
Mahal, is eclectic, from ragtime, blues, 30's &
40's jazz, folk, slide guitar to novelty tunes to
instrumentals.
Glen Bensley is very active in the Durham area, playing solo
gigs in the Toronto and Durham region. Glen hosts
'open stage' in various venues where several of the talented
local artist gather to share the stage, often accompanied by
Glen. He performed at the Oshawa Jazz & Blues Festival
2002 and The Whitby Town County Carnival in 2002.
Glen has been a guest solo performer on TV and is a sought
after studio session player. He is also currently the lead
and slide player in the rootsy, reggae, cajun, country,
bluegrass band The Town Hall Criers
Glen is available for guitar lessons.
