Singer/Songwriter/Musican
Born outside of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Roger started
playing and singing at the early age of 12 .
Roger Cormier has
played the road circuit in Ontario in the early 70's.
He released his first album in 1969 then left the music
industry to raise his family.

Update!
Roger Cormier was recently diagnosed
with Cancer. He has been undergoing extensive Chemo
treatment & radiation. He is fighting hard and remains
in a positive attitude. Roger believes in the power of
prayers, so, prayers on his behalf would be most
welcomed.

In 1994 he went back to
the music industry and released his first C.D. called "Highway
169" . The song "Highway 169 " was
written about a truck driver "Bert Pelletier " who sacrifices
his life on Highway 169 in Northern Ontario to save
numerous people's lives. It went to #1
in Holland, Sweden, Denmark etc. and ended up # 72 on
the Europe independent charts. "Your Memories Will Never
Fade Away " is a song he
wrote about his
daughter he lost in a car accident, went
to # 3.
His CD "Santa's Magic Sleigh" was also successful and
his "Santa's
Magic Sleigh" video and song are still popular in the
U.S.A.
and has been air on televsion every year, including Christmas
2000. |
Roger has also worked as a
actor on several movies and is now a movie producer.
